Support Our Efforts!

If you would like to help bring the music back to the Twin Cities, before the loss of such a great treasure causes irreparable harm to the local economy and music scene, we’d love for you to get involved in any way you can!

Volunteer Support

Do you have time, skills, knowledge, services or contacts that you are willing to contribute to this effort? If so, please tell us about it in the box below and we will contact you.

Financial Support

We are a completely grass-roots initiative. Consequently, all of our expenses to-date have been self-funded through the good will of SOSPCO Volunteers and friends.

As of April 1, SOSPCO is a sponsored project of Springboard for the Arts, a nonprofit arts service organization. Contributions on behalf of SOSPCO may be made payable to Springboard for the Arts and are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution towards the expenses of Save Our SPCO (printing, web hosting, software, mailings, materials, etc.), there are two ways to do so.

You can learn more about how the funds will be used and contribute by credit card via GiveMN’s website.  Just click here:

If you would prefer to donate by check, please make it out to Springboard for the Arts, and write “SOSPCO” in the memo line, and send it to our Treasurer:  Randal Schreiner, 51 Wildridge Road, Mahtomedi, MN 55115

If you would like to contribute to the SPCO Musicians’ Hardship Fund (which is also tax-deductible), you can find information on their website, which is  Click Here

    Dear SPCO,

It is a travesty that the orchestra management has insisted upon salary cuts that are not only demoralizing but disrespectful to the history of music-making in the SPCO. While many people may insist that an orchestra be run like a corporation, the impact of losing the SPCO as one of the finest chamber orchestras in the world is devastating for the Twin Cities. What so many people do not understand is that a healthy and happy orchestra is a reflection of the entire arts community and the general health of any large city. Please know that many people in the public are behind you and wish you well in these tough times.
